Project scope:

Remove invasive plants under existing trees and in full sun areas along historic stone wall and replant area with native shade-loving and full sun pollinator plants, shrubs and trees.

What we’ve accomplished:

1.

Replaced invasive plants with woodland natives and pollinator plants. Provide seasonal interest to the owner, community and created an evolving landscape that matures over many years.

2.

Created a landscape that requires seasonal maintenance instead of weekly maintenance and no fertilizers, pesticides or irrigation.

3.

Contribution to the Homegrown National Park movement in our effort to “plant native to rebuild the ecosystems that support all life, and restore the vital connections between plants and animals for a healthier, thriving planet.” - Doug Tallamy
