Rubus Landscape
featured scope:
Nature-based play space along the existing woodland edge, using only locally sourced trees and boulders, Rubus designed and installed this play environment for middle school kids to meet, chat, balance and engage with nature.
Balance & Meet
What we’ve accomplished:
1.
Outreach: Coordinated with the Baldwin Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and student council, School Principal and Assistant Principle and the town Maintenance Coordinator to discuss scope, design, layout and safety.
2.
Design: Submitted schematic design, based on outreach for nature-based play space for review from the PTO, Guilford Superintendent, School Principle and Maintenance Coordinator in Guilford.
3.
Install: Worked with local sanitation company (AW Sanitation) to pick out boulders and logs and worked together to cut, place and secure elements on site according to the approved plans and drawings.
